Sukhpreet Sandhu is the IP and Innovation Manager at HM.Clause. She manages the IP, and collaboration portfolio. She is reimagining innovation management in  HMC R&D that fosters creativity, brings together strategic partnerships and leverages external innovation. Her focus is on maximizing innovation and protecting intellectual property in ways that would create enduring success.

 She serves on the Management Team of HM.Clause-UC Davis Life Science Innovation Center, an incubator for early stage life science startups located in Davis.

Sukhpreet has worked in the vegetable seeds industry for over 10 years.  During her time at BASF and Bayer, she led a team of Scientists working on developing novel cell culture methods to accelerate the variety development She has developed clonal propagation and doubled haploid (DH) methods for several vegetable crops and studied plant performance, pollen and seed quality under controlled environments.

Sukhpreet holds a M.S in Biochemistry from Punjab Agricultural University, a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of Florida.
