Trish is Managing Director at Valley Vision, leading portfolios in food and agriculture, workforce development and broadband. Bringing a depth of expertise in economic research, policy, and project implementation, she has helped elevate the profile of the region’s food and ag economy, from promoting ag tech entrepreneurship and innovation to addressing critical workforce skills gaps and food insecurity and advancing Farm to Fork. Workforce development projects include management of partnership projects on behalf of the region’s workforce boards and community colleges to identify high demand occupations and meet critical industry cluster skills gaps through alignment and investment of education and workforce resources and industry partnerships. She also helps lead Valley Vision’s efforts to develop the Capital Region’s economic prosperity strategy, in collaboration with partner regional leadership organizations. Trish serves on several advisory bodies for regional food and ag organizations, including the AgStart incubator, the Greater Sacramento Food and Ag Innovation Council, and the Sac Metro Chamber’s Food and Ag Committee. In 2017 she received the Golden Bear Award for Lifetime Achievement from the California Association for Local Economic Development, and a Women Who Means Business award from the Sacramento Business Journal. Trish graduated Cum Laude with a BSL in Spanish from Georgetown University, and has a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
